CONCORD, NC - Lowe's Motor Speedway was the venue again this week for the series of two major NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup, while the NASCAR Truck Series had the weekend. The rain filled weekend of Memorial Day disrupted the racing calendar, race cut short late Saturday and the Coca-Cola 600 until Monday. Qualification for the two races were completed on time. Thursday night had the Sprint drivers Ryan Newman in the lead, turning a lap of 188. 475 mph. The return earned him his eighth pole at Lowe's, his fifth in the Coca-Cola 600. Kyle Bush has begun to second place followed by Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin, Jimmie Johnson and Kasey Kahne completed the first three lines.
