Founded in 2004 as an expansion team, the Charlotte Bobcats are a basketball team that Charlotte, North Carolina. Currently, the computer is part of the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference in the NBA and plays its home games at Time Warner Cable Arena in Uptown Charlotte. When the Charlotte Hornets moved to New Orleans for the 2002-03 season, the NBA Charlotte committed to granting an expansion team in the NBA for the 2004-05 season. A group headed by Black Entertainment Television founder L. Robert Johnson was awarded the new franchise in Charlotte. Johnson is known as one of U.S. leading African American authors in professional sports. Later in 2006, the NBA legend and North Carolina native Michael Jordan became the second largest shareholder in the franchise. Charlotte, home of the Carolina Panthers of the NFL, made the cat name related to a natural choice for the basketball team back in the region. The team was called the 'Bobcats' in 2003. With Charlotte Flight and Dragons franchise in Charlotte was one of the top three as voted by fans. On June 22, 2004, the Bobcats held their expansion draft and picked up several experienced players. Those listed Predrag Drobnjak and Sacramento Kings forward Gerald Wallace. However, Drobnjak never played for the team later traded to the Atlanta Hawks against a round of proposals for 2005 second-round pick. The team also traded with the Clippers to acquire the second-round draft pick in 2004. They chose Emeka Okafor, the center of the University of Connecticut. Okafor was going to win the Rookie of the Year in 2005. The first game in the 103-96 loss to the Bobcats' went to the Washington Wizards, 4 November 2004. The club won its first match on the Orlando Magic 111-100 on November 6. After losing seven games in a row, was surprised to defending champion Detroit Pistons 91-89. Not before December 14, the Bobcats gave their fans some noise, beating the New Orleans Hornets 94-93. The team will also write a final record 18-64 in the 4th place in their division. The team also stimulate Lady Cats, cats and cats Rally Pace. Cats are the cheerleaders of the Virgin to make many appearances for charity and promotion for the team. The Rally Cats is a group performing high energy that can be found in every Bobcats game. They are always pumping the crowd, tossing T-shirts, performing acrobatics, dance and participate in fan gifts. Rhythm Cats are a group of talented musicians that carry energy to every home game of the Bobcats. They create huge fan enthusiasm during pre-game introduction and throughout the game. It was not long appeared the Bobcats as a team. After the decision of the NBA to grow in 2002, many new teams like basketball. Charlotte Bobcats is one of them. Created in 2004, the Bobcats appeared on the horizon for two seasons after Charlotte's former team in the NBA, the Charlotte Hornets moved to New Orleans and became the New Orleans Hornets. Robert L. Johnson was initially the sole owner of the team. Later, he joined Michael Jordan and Nell. The Bobcats played their first game of 4 November 2004. He missed the game with the Washington Wizards 103-96. The Bobcats' first win came two days later on November 6, beating the Orlando Magic with score111-100. This season the Bobcats as potential emerging artists, and beat the likes of the defense of Detroit Pistons and New Orleans Hornets finishing in 4th place in their division.
