The Dallas Mavericks are an NBA basketball team based in Dallas, Texas. The team is owned by Mark Cuban. Terdema Ussery is president and CEO. Franchise history: Early struggles (1980-82)Dallas, Texas was found in 1979. At the 1980 NBA All-Star Game, league owners voted to admit the new team. The team’s name came from the 1957-1962 TV western Mavericks. Becoming a power early (1982-85) The Mavericks were serious competitor for the first time in 1982-83. At the All-Star break, they were 25-24 and had won 12 of their last 15 games. The Mavs’ 38-44 record signified a 10-game improvement from the previous season, and the fact that a third-year expansion team had even been in playoff contention at all was quite remarkable. A true contender (1985-87) Dallas had the eighth pick in the 1985 NBA Draft and drafted German-born forward Detlef Schrempf out of Washington. He would show flashes of brilliance in his three-plus seasons with the team, but it was not until he was traded to the Indiana Pacers that he displayed his full potential. The Mavericks also traded center Kurt Nimphius to the Los Angeles Clippers for center James Donaldson. Season in ruin (1988-89) Dallas started the season 9-3, but spiraled rapidly down the tubes after that. Mark Aguirre was traded to the eventual champion Detroit Pistons for Adrian Dantley. Briefly bouncing back (1989-90) The Mavericks returned to the playoffs in 1989-90 with a 47-35 record, but it was another season of off-court chaos. Tarpley was arrested. The team started 5-6. The Mavs finished the season with four straight victories to surge into the playoffs, but went down rather meekly to the Portland Trail Blazers in three games. It would be the team’s last winning season and last playoff appearance until 2001. Three Js give Dallas hope (1994-96) In 1994-95, the addition of Jason Kidd infused the Mavericks with new life. Kidd averaged 11. 7 points, 5. 4 rebounds and 7. 7 assists in his rookie season, and even led the league in triple-doubles. Roy Tarpley was allowed to return to the league after three years and helped with 12. 6 points and 8. 2 rebounds per game. On separate occasions, Mashburn and Jackson scored 50 points in a game that season. Mashburn contributed 24. 1 points per game. Second-year forward Popeye Jones averaged 10. 6 rebounds and led the NBA in offensive rebounds. 2001-04 The 2001-02 season was a great season for the Mavericks, with a 57-25 record. This season also saw a change in logo and colors. Another blockbuster trade sent Juwan Howard, Tim Hardaway and Donnell Harvey to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for Raef LaFrentz, Nick Van Exel, Tariq Abdul-Wahad and Avery Johnson. The Mavericks swept the Minnesota Timberwolves in the playoffs but lost again in the second round. Roster changes lead to Finals The 2004-05 season brought in blockbuster trades which brought Erick Dampier, combo guard Jason Terry, speedy rookie point guard Devin Harris, scoring machine Jerry Stackhouse, and defensive stalwart Alan Henderson. At the All-Star break, the Mavericks acquired Keith Van Horn for Calvin Booth and Henderson, the latter resigning only days later. 2006 NBA Finals The Mavericks defeated the Phoenix Suns in game 6 of the Western Conference Finals on June 3, 2006. They faced the Miami Heat in the finals scored two convincing wins. After game 2 Dallas city officials had already planned the victory parade. However, in Game 3, the Mavs blew a late double-digit lead. He carried the Heat to the win. After getting blown out in Game 4, the Mavericks suffered another loss in Game 5 when Wade scored the game-tying basket in the last possession of regular time, putting the Heat ahead with last-second free throws in overtime. The tragic figure was Josh Howard, who missed a pair of clutch free throws in overtime and mistakenly called an early timeout. Why do some athletes consistently excel when the game is on the line or when the “pressures” of competition appear to be at their toughest, while under the same conditions, others perform inconsistently or are sometimes at their worst? Why do so many athletes often perform better in practice than they do in competition? And what is the one thing in sports that most often separates the winner from second place? For so many athletes, the answer to these questions is no mystery – the difference lies within the incredible 3 1/2 lbs of electrical energy, power, and potential between our ears – our mind. The goal of almost every mental training drill and peak performance skill is to strengthen and improve Composure, Concentration, and Confidence. These three ‘Cs’ of peak performance are supreme in their influence on sports related performance. Trace the root of almost every positive or negative sports performance experience and you will find one or more of these variables. But there is one other ‘C’ of peak performance that is just as important – and that is our Commitment or Drive. The great Bill Russell, one of the greatest winners in the history of all sports - winning 11 NBA Championships in 13 years - once said that “the heart of a champion has to do with the depth of our Commitment. “Of all the accolades and sports writer’s superlatives used to describe Miami’s first NBA championship, most have focused on Dwayne Wade’s amazing will to win, drive and commitment throughout the series. He is certainly worthy of the praise. His 157 point total during the last 4 games, including his Final’s MVP clinching 36pt. , 5 assist, 4 steal, 3 block championship winning performance makes him worthy. Yet, as we examine Dwayne’s career a little closer we find that the real reason behind Miami’s first NBA Championship has as much to do with his approach and commitment to his career than his NBA Final’s heroics. In just 3 short years Dwayne has increased his career scoring average from 16. 1 to 27. 2 pts. per game. His FT% has increased from 74. 7% to 78. 3%, his FG% from 46. 5% to 49. 5%, his steals from 1. 4 to 2. 0 per game, and his rebounds from 4. 1 to 5. 7 per game – all with only a minor increase in minutes per game played. These types of results and improvements are not the result of trips to the mall, fine dining and lazy afternoons playing X-Box. These types of improvements are the result of blood, sweat and tears in empty gyms with a serious commitment to athletic excellence and continuous improvement. As reporters, fans, NBA G. M. ’s and Coaches discuss strategy, chemistry, and the development of their draft pick, this is the level of commitment that will ultimately determine the full impact that each player recently selected in the 2006 NBA Draft will have on their teams and the league. Only winning Commitment and Motivation will bring out the best in any athleteWithout doubt, your level of commitment, often called motivation or drive, is the number #1 predictor of how far you will take your sport – from Grade School to State, National, and World Championships, Olympic Gold, or the Hall of Fame. Motivation predicts the lengths you will go to improve and excel – both physically (skills and athleticism) and mentally (mental training skills). You could be the most skilled athlete in the world, with the most gifted athleticism, possessing the most natural Peak Performance Composure, Concentration, and Confidence; and yet, without motivation, all of this means nothing. The talent would be wasted. If you do not have any desire to achieve excellence in your sport, you never will – it’s as simple as that. Motivation stems from a deep love and passion for the sport you play and a deep competitive drive. The passion is something that may develop over time or it may always have been there – from the first moment you picked up that ball, and the first time you ever stepped onto that court…there was a feeling of something deep inside you coming alive. For some athletes, it is purely the thrill of competition that makes them feel alive. But any discussion on game time motivation levels should always involve two levels of responsibility - one level for coaches, and one for the athletes. Some coaches are world renowned for their ability to deliver the ultimate ‘pre-game talk,’ and enjoy watching their teams lock down opponents with four quarters of awe-inspiring intensity. However, the problem that many coaches face is consistency. That same set of ‘magic words’ that worked so well for one game, often will not work for another, and every coach has at times shrugged their shoulders during an extremely important game while asking, “where in the world is the intensity? I thought we prepared so well!” This is where the athletes must shoulder some responsibility. Maintaining Commitment LevelsThe following 3 ‘quick’ tips will help any coach or athlete maintain a fierce level of intensity and high motivation level regardless of whether the setting is a 6am practice, or the biggest game of the year. 1. Inspire the Athlete with a vision:The great essayist Jean La Fontaine wrote “whenever the heart is captured, impossibilities vanish,” and in few arenas is this more true than in the athletic arena. Athletes want to know and need to know exactly what they should shoot for. As a coach, don’t just ask the athlete to lead – tell them exactly how you want them to lead (on-court? off-court? Vocally? By Action? By teaching? By guiding? By inspiring others?. . . . . Be specific!). General and non-specific direction leads to ‘general and non-specific’ results. If you are an athlete, don’t just talk about the end of year championship… inspire and challenge yourself with very specific expectations and goals that relate to the very specific role you will play in the championship drive. In what way will you contribute offensively (what particular skills will you use to contribute?). What about defensively? What is your plan of action to develop these specific skills?2. Set more ‘Performance’ based goals than ‘Outcome’ based goals:Performance based goals only relate to controllable behaviors vs. outcome based goals that relate to actual stats. which are not always fully controllable. For example, if an athlete sets a goal of shooting 50% from the 3pt. Line in the next game, or holding a high scoring opponent to single digits for the game, these factors at times can be affected by a great defensive or offensive performance from an opponent. Failure with statistical goals can be demoralizing and can add emotional pressure to a game or playoff series. This is not to suggest that ‘keeping score’ and setting quantifiable goals are bad things to do. On the contrary; sometimes this type of goal setting and tracking is absolutely essential. However, the majority of goals should be ‘performance’ related in such a way that they are based more on fully controllable elements i. e. intensity of defensive effort, or the quality of the ‘look’ or concentration that the athlete gave the rim before every shot. Focusing on the variables that are responsible for the 3pt. shot actually going in (vs. the outcome of the actual shot itself), can often be so much more productive while also alleviating any additional ‘pressure’ related to statistics. 3. Inject more fun into practice and games without sacrificing intensity:As is often said of many athletes and their relationship to their coach…. “if they fear you in your presence, they will hate you in your absence. ” No player ever gave 100% intensity in every game of the season to a coach they hated. Coaches and players should find creative ways to inject some fun into a practice or game. Creativity and fun in practice also has an amazing way of counteracting pressure. Pressure begins and ends in the mind of any athlete, and the physiological reaction to pressure that the body feels through muscle tension, short/shallow breathing patterns and general nervousness are nothing more than the brain affecting the body. Fun can counteract stress and the body’s physical reaction to stress in remarkable ways.

Pat Riley considered the greatest NBA coach of all times has been the head coach of five championship teams, most recent 2006 NBA Championship with the Miami Heat. Retired as head coach, he now heads the Miami heat as team president. Prior to his Miami Heat coaching, he headed the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks.
His coaching career began with the Lakers leading them to four consecutive NBA Finals appearances. Riley’s first title came in his first season against the Philadelphia 76ers. He earned is second NBA title in 1985 when the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Boston Celtics in six games and his third NBA title in 1987 beating the Celtics again. While still head coach for the Lakers, Riley made history by guaranteeing a repeat championship for the Lakers the following season. The Lakers became the first team in 20 years to repeat as champions not only in 1988 as promised by Riley, but again in 1989. Riley was named NBA Coach of the Year in 1990 for the first time, but had stepped down as head coach that same year due to rumored ager issues and team player issues. The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Phoenix Suns that same year.
In 1991 Riley became the head coach for the New York Knicks, leading them to the team’s best year ever and was honored with his second Coach of the Year title. In 1995, Riley headed the Miami Heat basketball team. Although 1989, 1999 and 2000 playoff would bring disappointing losses to Miami, coach Riley would be honored with his third Coach Of The Year title. With many players traded and much changes made in throughout his coaching years with the Miami Heat, they finally reached the NBA Championship title in 2006. On April 2008, Pat Riley announced his retirement and stepped down as the head coach of the Miami Heat after the team’s worst ever finish record 15-67.

The franchise was formed in 1946 as the Tri-Cities Blackhawks (named after Tri-City native Black Hawk) of the National Basketball League; it was based in the tri-city area between Moline, Illinois, Rock Island, Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa (now called the Quad Cities). Some sources state the team started the 1946-47 NBL season as the Buffalo Bisons and relocated to the Tri-Cities early in the season. When the NBL merged with the Basketball Association of America to form the National Basketball Association, the Blackhawks reached the playoffs in the NBA’s inaugural year, under the leadership of coach Red Auerbach.
However, the following season, after the team drafted Bob Cousy and made the blunder of trading his rights to the Chicago Stags (who would later surrender him in a dispersal draft to the Boston Celtics after they folded), they failed to qualify for the postseason. In 1951, the franchise relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and became the Hawks. In 1953, the Hawks drafted Bob Pettit, a future NBA MVP. Despite this, the Hawks were one of the league’s worst teams, and in 1955 the Hawks moved yet again, this time to St. Louis, Missouri.
With acquisitions in the draft and free agency, the Hawks became one of the league’s top teams. In 1957, the team advanced to the 1957 NBA Finals, losing to the Boston Celtics in a double-overtime thriller in game seven. In 1958, the Hawks again advanced to the NBA Finals under coach Alex Hannum and captured their only NBA Championship in game 6 against the Celtics.
The Hawks remained one the NBA’s premier teams for the next decade. In 1960, under coach Ed Macauley, the team advanced to the Finals yet again, but lost - again to the Celtics - in yet another game seven thriller. The following year, with the acquisition of rookie Lenny Wilkens, the Hawks repeated their success, but met the Celtics in the Finals again and lost in five games.
The next few years the Hawks remained contenders, every year advancing deep into the playoffs and also capturing several division titles. Despite the success, owners of the team became wary of the aging Kiel Auditorium and wanted a new arena to increase revenue; they were however rebuffed by the city on several occasions. In 1968, the team was sold to new owners, Atlanta real estate developer Tom Cousins and Georgia governor Carl Sanders and moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Cousins’ firm developed the Omni Coliseum, a state-of-the-art downtown Atlanta arena, for the Hawks and the expansion Atlanta Flames hockey franchise, which opened in 1972 as the first phase of a massive sports, office, hotel and retail complex, most of which is now the CNN Center.
The years after the move showcased a talented Hawks team, including Pete Maravich, and Lou Hudson. However, after this period of success, the Hawks experienced years of rebuilding. The rebuilding process appeared to be the right direction when they ended up with the 1st and 3rd picks overall in the 1975 NBA Draft. However, it took a turn for the worst when draft picks David Thompson and Marvin Webster both signed on with ABA franchises.
In 1976 Atlanta Braves owner Ted Turner bought the team and hired Hubie Brown to become head coach. In 1980, the Hawks team finished with 50 wins and won the Central Division. In 1982, the franchise acquired superstar Dominique Wilkins and promoted Mike Fratello to head coach a year later. From 1985-89, the Hawks were among the league’s elite, winning 50 games or more each season. However, the team could not advance past the semifinals of the Eastern Conference playoffs. After several seasons of mediocrity, Lenny Wilkens was hired as coach in 1993. In the 1993-94 season, coach Wilkens led the team to 57 victories, tying a team record. However, the team fell short again in the playoffs, losing to the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern semis in six games. The season was also marred with the trading of Wilkins, who remains the franchise all-time leading scorer for Danny Manning, who quickly left via free agency to Phoenix after the season ended. The trade was a public-relations disaster for Hawks management as ticket sales and overall interest waned without its superstar; in fact, it still sours many Hawk fans to this day. In 1995, coach Wilkens broke the record (previously held by former Hawk coach Red Auerbach) for most victories by an NBA head coach with victory number 939. Despite a couple of 50+ win seasons afterward, the Hawks were quickly ousted from the playoffs on both occasions, which led to further apathy by local fans who quickly grew accustomed to Hawk failures in the playoffs.
In recent years, the Hawks yet again have become one of the league’s worst teams, mainly because of horrible personnel moves made by the front office in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. In March 2004, the team was sold to a group of executives by the name of Atlanta Spirit LLC by Time Warner (who inherited the Hawks and Braves upon its merger with Turner Broadcasting in 1996), along with the Atlanta Thrashers pro ice hockey team, with which the Hawks share the Philips Arena. After the change in ownership, though, the Hawks still struggled. In the 2004-05 season, the Hawks gained the notorious reputation of the league’s worst team with a mere 13 victories (five less than even the expansion Charlotte Bobcats and the struggling New Orleans Hornets). Despite their league worst-record, though, the Hawks only landed the number two pick in the 2005 NBA Draft (the first pick went to the Milwaukee Bucks). With the second pick in the 2005 NBA Draft, the Atlanta Hawks selected Marvin Williams of the University of North Carolina. Marvin Williams was considered at the time to be the player with the most potential and marketablity of the draft class despite other talented and more accomplished players being available, such as Chris Paul and Deron Williams. Additionally, the Hawks also drafted Josh Childress and Josh Smith from the 2004 Draft, Salim Stoudamire in the second round of the 2005 Draft, and had nearly $25 million in cap space for 2005 free agent market.
However, despite the recent influx of talent acquired in the draft, they still hold the longest drought of not drafting an All-Star or Pro Bowl player in North American pro sports (23 years), going back to their 1984 selection of Kevin Willis. In the summer of 2005, the Hawks completed a sign-trade deal with the Phoenix Suns that landed Atlanta Joe Johnson in return for Boris Diaw and two future 1st round picks. They also signed Zaza Pachulia from the Milwaukee Bucks. These changes occurred after an apparent power struggle between the owners for nearly three weeks before the moves were made. Unfortunately, while the power struggle over Johnson has been resolved, the ownership situation remains in flux, with ligitation still ongoing.
As of 2006, the Hawks have shown some moderate improvement. Even with the league’s 4th worst record, during the 2005-06 season they still managed to triumph over the then-defending champion San Antonio Spurs, 94-84, and also defeated the Detroit Pistons while the latter had the league’s best regular season record.
The Hawks trail only the Golden State Warriors (12 in a row) in terms of the most consecutive seasons without a playoff appearance with seven in a row (see Active NBA non-playoff appearance streaks). They also hold the dubious distinctions of not advancing beyond the second-round of any playoff format since 1961 and the longest run of not winning an NBA title (49 years).
With the lack of success in the playoffs, and most recently, the regular season, along with often dubious decisions by the front office in terms of the draft and free agency, and the ever-embarrassing episodes in court over ownership of the franchise has greatly contributed to the fact that the team is constantly at or near the bottom of the league in home attendance. While many local and national columnists continue to barrage the city of Atlanta for its lack of fan support (for example, the sight of seeing an Atlanta Braves home playoff game with lots of empty seats is not uncommon despite the team only winning one world title in 14 consecutive playoff appearances), many longtime fans point to the lack of success on the court and the league-wide perception that they remain years away from being competitive as a reason to stay away from Philips Arena.
What does a pre-call plan consist of, and how do I use it? In this Articles the pre-call plan is explained below. It consists of ten key points; each point is very important, so make sure you don’t skip any step. All 10 items should be addressed for each meeting you have with a real decision maker. The items are as follows: 1. Write sales call objective. It’s important that you clearly understand what your objective is for the call, or sales visit. This may seem obvious, but it’s easy into get to a client’s office, meet about one topic, but end up talking about everything else except making the sale. It’s important to define what the objective is for the call or meeting ahead of time. The main objective could be to ultimately sell your product. But sometimes it may be merely to gain rapport, start a long-term relationship, or merely to introduce yourself and your company. 2. Compile needs analysis questions to ask. Understanding what the potential customer needs can be discovered simply by asking the right questions. Formulating that question ahead of time is what we want to do. Not only do we want to formulate the question, but we also want to formulate the answers we think may best fit the prospect’s needs. This probability analysis helps narrow down which aspects of our product to emphasize. 3. Get presentation material to show. Visual aids are excellent to add reinforcement to your presentation, and can be a fun way to physically demonstrate to the customer what you’re selling. Like a picture speaks a thousand words, a demonstration speaks volumes. The customer will remember the demonstration long after your words have been forgotten. This is a power tool. Use it effectively. 4. Write down anticipated customer concerns and objections. Put yourself in the shoes of the prospect for a moment, and think of any concerns you may have with the product. What do you think the customer would object to? Anticipating these concerns will help you prepare a response if they come up during the sales meeting. It may even be appropriate to point these out to the customer, just to illustrate that you are concerned about their welfare. Plus, addressing concerns before they arise, puts the idea of pro-activity in the minds of the customer, and makes you appear to have done your homework. 5. List points of difference between your product and your competitor’s. Researching the competition is what will allow you to point out the differences. What is your leg up on the competition? Not only that, but how do I translate that difference in a way that will have real meaning. This suggests that we not only study the competition, but we must also know the elements that are most important to that particular customer. 6. List meaningful benefits to customers. If you haven’t already done so, take out a price of paper, and make a list of the benefits your product offers the customer. What a great exercise this will be, because benefits are what the successful salesperson sells. Answering the question, How will the customer benefit from using your product is the central selling point. Know this list, and be ready to use it at every opportunity. 7. Use the quantification approach; do an investment return analysis. The ability to state the benefit of your product in a way that has some quantified impact becomes a great selling tool. For example, you may be able to demonstrate the actual savings the customer will realize by using your product over your competition. But being able to state the benefits in a more quantifiable way has a more profound impact. Do an investment analysis on your product to see what the numbers say. Then, relay those numbers to the customer for a real and meaningful demonstration of the benefits of your product. 8. Devise strategies to handle objections and eliminate customer concerns. It is important to know what the customer concerns are, and that we have worked out a strategy to handle each one of them. A component of good customer service is to recognize the problem, but a successful salesperson developed strategies that will eliminate all customer concerns. This type of planning forces one to think of any and ever customer concern, and helps prepare a plan to eliminate each one. When this is done, the customer has no hindrances to the purchase. Remember to keep the sales process moving forward. 9. Plan a closing strategy. If you’ve done your homework, the closing sales strategy may be as simple as asking this question, Does this make sense to you? If so, the next step is to purchase. Most people think that closing a sale is a difficult process, requiring the most persuasive ability that a salesperson can muster. But if you’re done the preparation steps properly, closing is very simple. Your previous preparation has logically led the client through the sales process, one step at a time. Now the logical next step is to purchase. 10. List expected surprises. Surprises are surprises only if you don’t anticipate them. List the expected surprises that could possibly arise in a sales meeting, so that when/if they arise, they won’t be surprises at all. We may not be able to anticipate everything that could possibly happen, but we can use our prior experiences to anticipate as many surprises as possible. Preparation is the key.
In 2009, sports fans around the globe experienced thrilling moments of excitement watching really great teams competing in different sports. Although it is not easy to single out the best teams out of a vast number of competitors, still there are some sports teams that went a step further demonstrating the true meaning of being a sports professional and bringing results, while offering a great spectacle. BARCELONA (European Football) In 2008/2009 season, FC Barcelona was the absolute winner in soccer. Hiring Josep Guardiola as a new manager and selling off high-profiled players such as Ronaldinho and Deco, Barcelona played fantastic football and won La Liga, Copa Del Rey and the UEFA Champions League, becoming the first team to win the Treble in the history of Spanish football. Barcelona plays solid football. Players play together for several seasons and they know each other, their style of playing and their way of thinking in the field. One of the most valuable players, both for Barça and the Spanish national football team is Carles Puyol, a veteran that plays in Barcelona since the age of 17. Puyol is a great defender who demonstrates incredible fitness levels and his discipline on the pitch. Along with Puyol, Xavier, Iniesta, Ibrahimovic, Henry and Messi, among others, create a great team that, according to many, plays the best football in Europe. Sports analysts believe that Barça is likely to win the UEFA Champions League again in 2010, in spite Real’s, admittedly, great roaster. PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES (Baseball) A review of the best sporting teams of 2009 wouldn’t be full without mentioning Philadelphia Phillies. Managed by Charlie Manuel, a baseball veteran with minor-league experience, the Phillies began their sixth season at Citizens Bank Park to defend their 2008 World Series championship. After beating Colorado Rockies and Los Angeles Dodgers in the playoffs, the Phillies became the first team to have won a consecutive National League flag in franchise history. Currently, the Phillies are playing in the World Series 2009 against another great team, the New York Yankees, to win their second consecutive league championship. However, they are definitely not ready to give up title yet. Howard (first base), Utley (second base), Hamels (starting pitcher), Lidge (relief pitcher) and Rollins (shortstop) are the core players that keep the Phillies competitive, aggressive and determined to get the title. It still remains to be seen who the final winner will be, but the Phillies, stand, admittedly, great chances. LOS ANGELES LAKERS (NBA) Having won the 2009 NBA Championship over the Orlando Magic in 5 games, the Los Angeles Lakers are, admittedly, the best NBA team of 2009. With Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol as their big stars, the Lakers won title No. 15, Kobe Bryant was named Finals MVP, while Phil Jackson hits his way into record books having won his 10th NBA title. With this win, Los Angeles Lakers are two behind the Boston Celtics. Apart from Kobe and Pau, the team has excellent, skillful players like Lamar Odom, Shannon Brown and Trevor Ariza. Under the guidance of Phil Jackson and the leadership of Kobe Bryant, the Lakers seem hungry to come back for more in 2010. The Lakers have a great roaster, but if Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs are healthier in 2010, the battle will be more intense and the Lakers will need more than Kobe Bryant to win the Championship.
